Founded in June 2009 and based out of Hollywood, CA, Disarray Magazine was created with the sole purpose of reviewing the best in: Music, Fashion, Food and Events. Disarray’s comprehensive coverage is written by individuals with a strong passion for discovering underground trends, artists, events and offbeat eateries. At Disarray, we give you a taste of what we like (and hate.)

Who we are: 

Editor-in-Chief: Christy Buena

Formerly an editor and writer at Citysearch, The Examiner, LA Youth Newspaper and proofreader at The Los Angeles Daily News, Christy Buena decided to start Disarray Magazine because she missed writing what she wanted. Her day job consists of programming a popular How-to website but on her off time, she manages every aspect of Disarray Magazine. From hiring writers, to contacting publicists and making assignments, Christy is responsible for making sure the magazine doesn't suck.

Bianca is a Florida State University graduate with a strong passion for writing and a love of food. Reviewing a number of restaurants and cafe's in the Los Angeles area, Bianca is your source to the best in food and drink.

Crissy Done

Crissy Done graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s in English and a strong desire to write. Her passions include fashion, beauty, music, food and travel.

Jennifer is a hospitality marketing specialist by day and owner of Ajenda Public Relations by night. Having obtained her degree in fashion, while working in the restaurant field, she is a self proclaimed fashion and food junkie. Kimberly Fisher

Kimberly Fisher is a freelance writer based in Manhattan Beach, CA and Las Vegas, NV. She specializes in travel, lifestyle and fashion. Born with restless feet, she enjoys traveling and is always on the lookout for a new experience. So far she has traveled to over 37 countries and almost every US state. Nancy Mora

Nancy Mora currently works as a proofreader for a busy law firm but her exuberance derives from creative writing and bringing stories to life. She indulges in her weekly cravings from salads to chili cheese fries and is an obliging gym rat – minus the bulging muscles.

Shooting a variety of niches, Steven Buena has experience in concert footage, fashion photography, drift competitions, skateboarding photos and more. Covering everything from cars, rockstars and models, Steven is widening his scope and challenging himself everyday.
