Live Review: Lil' Jon Performs at the Maloof Money Cup

Lil Jon turned the Maloof Money Cup into a giant party Sunday performing a string of hits on the street course. He kicked off the VOLCOM Street Pro Finals and even L.A. Laker Ron Artest stopped by to check it out. About two dozen security guards tried to hold back feisty photographers and skaters trying to get a closer look at the crunk master himself.

While the scorching sun beat down on the onlookers, Volcom girls and Vitamin Water promo ladies danced to popular club bangers including LMFAO's "Shots," Pitbull's, "Krazy," and DJ Class' "I'm the Ish," among others.

Since there were kids in attendance, Lil' Jon respectfully censored himself. Check out our shots from the OC Fairgrounds event:

If you're curious to know who won the $100,000 Maloof Money Cup skateboarding prize, Chris Cole took the cake for the third time! Cole beat out Nyjah Huston, who won $40,000, and Sean Malto who took home $25,000. “This is unreal,” said Cole. “To win one Maloof Money Cup is a dream, to win three Maloof Money Cups is just insane.”

Check out the rankings of the Maloof Money Cup 2010 skateboarding competition:

“This was absolutely the most intense skateboarding contest I’ve ever seen,” said MMC Creator Joe Maloof. “These guys came out to win and it was just unreal to watch them put everything they have out there on the course. Nyjah was incredible and came so close to taking first, but there was just no stopping Chris Cole. He is so amazing to watch and once again he proved that he’s one of the best skateboarders in the world.”
