Over Thanksgiving weekend, we took a break from our usual Hollywood/L.A. club scene and headed down to San Diego’s FLUXX on Saturday for our friend’s birthday. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Sweet Shoppe décor reminiscent of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, except more colorful with a dash of playful, flirty feminine appeal. To top things off, the special guest of the evening was Rico DeLargo who performed live on trumpet alongside bass thumping beats courtesy of DJ Sid Vicious and G*Roy. The night, which consisted of a fun theme, live music, sexy bartenders, go-go dancers and a fun crowd, delivered the perfect recipe for an entertaining night.

Inside, we saw cotton candy trees, bubbles where girls danced inside surrounded by balloons and a large dance floor, which created a flirty, fun ambiance. For those unaware of Fluxx, the club was awarded "Best New Nightclub in the Nation" by Nightclub&Bar Awards 2011.

Fans of MTV's, "Jersey Shore," will be glad to know that on Friday, December 2nd, Ronnie Magro will be celebrating his birthday at the venue.
