Live Review: Styling the Modern Man: Pre-Oscar Gala at Siren Studios
Hollywood's Siren Studios was home to the Pre-Oscar Gala dubbed, "Styling the Modern Man" - The Gentlemen's Closet, presented by Chivas, Barefoot Wines and Ekquality Style Hause on Saturday. The crowd consisted of fashionable men and women who celebrated the one year anniversary of Ekquality Style Hause. Attendees enjoyed complimentary massages and stylists provided grooming tips as well as on the spot haircuts. Party goers sipped on Chivas and Barefoot wines as they browsed the latest in men's fashion from Tallia, Gemelli, Luka Prado shoes, Pocket Change clothing and Naked Suits, among others.
Upon arrival, we headed straight for Luka Prado's table who had colorful, edgy shoes on display. Prado explained that he started creating studded guitar straps two years ago and then evolved into designing shoes. Musicians Nelly Furtado and Nicki Minaj have been spotted wearing Prado's line. The humble and shy designer reminisced about his days working at a restaurant and how all of a sudden his love of design took off and celebrities are knocking.

As we made our rounds, we visited the Gemelli display consisting of a variety of blazers paired with button up shirts merchandised on racks and chests. We were also given a bag containing a complimentary tie. For more information, visit: http://www.gemelli.ca/style.html
Next to the Gemelli display was a section for massages. Stressed-out attendees were able to unwind from the Oscar madness.
As we continued making our rounds, we ended up at Naked Suits by Albert Ming. Ming's suits consist of stain repellent wool that have been hand-tailored for a slim cut. Celebrities wearing Naked Suits include Chuck D, Perez Hilton, Tim Urban and DJ Mike Relm. For more information and to purchase Naked Suits, visit: http://www.albertming.com/
Next to the Naked Suits display, we saw Pocket Change clothing consisting of skateboarding apparel and button-up shirts. However, Pocket Change is not just about clothing as they embrace fundraising, community charity and inspire America's youth to follow their dreams through the "Live Different" campaign. We also spotted Niabella Perfumed Wax. Every candle is made with their signature 100% Natural Shea wax blend, and can be rubbed onto the skin as perfume, body oil or massage wax when heated.

Overall, the event was well attended and those at Siren Studios mingled, posed on the red carpet and even walked away looking better thanks to the on the spot style lounge. A few lucky attendees walked away with free products including Gemelli ties.
