AFI fans will be glad to know that front-man Davey Havok will be debuting his novel, POP KIDS on April, 4 through Black Candy Publishing. In this book, Havok opens the Kimono and gives readers a glimpse of the frenetic lives of today's pop-culture obsessed youth. This novel is supposed to be a compelling portrait of high school angst, nihilistic behavior and longed-for redemption.
He's designed fashion, jewelry and footwear. Born in 1975 in Rochester, NY, Havok moved to California with his family when he was five years old. He dropped out of UC Berkeley to pursue his music career. Today Havok divides his time between Oakland and Los Angeles. POP KIDS is the first book in a planned trilogy.
